Objectives
- To enhance financial management and entrepreneurial skills among undergraduates.
- To increase the consciousness among undergraduates about the risks and gains involved while trading at the enterprises.
- To provide opportunities for undergraduates to transform theoretical knowledge into practical strategy.
- To cultivate the spirit of teamwork among undergraduates through the interesting and challenging group’s competition.

HOW DOES THE GAME RUN?
Entities involve:
i. Investment Bank (Organizing Committee)
ii. Investment Companies (Participants – 30 teams)
Period of game:
i. Stage One: 2 hours
ii. Stage Two: 1 and a half hour
iii. Each round = 30 minutes = 1 financial year
Hence, there are 7 rounds throughout the whole game.
GAME FLOW
- Each group of participants will be representing an investment company, same amount of starting capital will be provided to every investment company (participants). Company targets will be distributed to each of the investment company (participants) in the beginning of the game and whichever company achieves the target will be rewarded add-in capital.
- Loans are available for every investment company provided by investment bank. The interest rate for loans will vary each round according to the macroeconomics environment and no negotiation is allowed. Loans have to be paid back within the stage, if not the investment company will be penalized.
- In each round, there will be several macroeconomics factors to affect the fluctuation of real property market prices, currency rates and stock prices. Fluctuation determinants can be acquired through several forms of mass media.
eg: newspaper, live news, etc.
- Property models, eg: houses, office buildings are opened for showcase throughout the game.
Properties in different countries are available for sale as well, yet the price shown will be on respective currency values. Participants need to convert the currencies on their own if they wish to purchase real properties in another country.
- Fluctuation of currency rates and stock price, as well as countdown timer will be shown on projector screen throughout the game.
HOW TO WIN?
The investment company which gains the highest value of net asset after the 7 rounds will be declared the champion.
RULES & REGULATIONS, RESPECTIVE ROLES OF EACH ENTITY AND DETAILED GAME FLOW WILL BE SENT TO ALL THE REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS ONCE THE REGISTRATION PERIOD ENDS.
